Facts:
1989: MSc degree on Meteorology (on numerical weather prediction) at the Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest.
1993: stipend at the EMEP (Co–operative Programme for Monitoring and Evaluation of the Long–range Transmission of Air Pollutants in Europe) in Oslo, Norway.
1989–2011: Hungarian Meteorological Service, Division for Analysis of Atmospheric Environment.
2011– : Head of Deartment for Climate and Atmospheric Environment of the Hungarian Meteorological Service.

Fields of interest:

managing the sampling and laboratory analysis of the four background monitoring stations of Hungary (one of them is a regular EMEP station)
data quality management
operative chemical weather forecasting system for Budapest
present research: developing a method for calculating the background air pollution level in Hungary combining statistical and dynamical (modelling) approaches.
