Brief Curriculum Vitae

Thorsten Conrad is managing partner and co–founder of 3S GmbH. There, he is mainly responsible for new product strategies and business development.

He studied electrical engineering at Saarland University (Germany) and graduated in 2002. From 2002 till 2006, he first was with IMTEK at Freiburg (Germany) and then with Saarland University as a scientist in the fields of microelectronic, MEMS and metal oxide gas sensors. In 2006, he co–founded 3S GmbH, a company focused on the development and realization of customer–specific gas detection systems for leak detection, odor assessment and (air) quality control.

He is involved in several national institutions and organizations such as VDE, VDI, AMA, and DGZfP.
