Brief Curriculum Vitae

Eduard Llobet graduated in telecommunication engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) (Barcelona, Spain) in 1991, and received his PhD in 1997 from the same university. He is currently full professor of Electronic Technology at the Electronic Engineering Department of the Universitat Rovira i Virgili (Tarragona, Spain. Since 2010 he has been the Director of the Research Centre on Engineering of Materials and micro/nanosystems (EMaS), a multi–disciplinary research platform that brings together experts in materials science, physicists, chemists and engineers with common interests in nanoelectronics, photonics, catalysis, energy and (bio)chemical sensing. Co–author of more than 160 peer–reviewed journal papers. He is a Senior Member of the IEEE.
