Brief Curriculum Vitae

Dr. Mar Viana is a staff researcher from CSIC. She is an expert in the characterization, monitoring and assessment of air quality, with special interest in the interpretation of its sources by means of receptor models. She has experience in both technical aspects and legislative issues of air quality, as well as in the interpretation of air quality data. She was a member of international working groups (EUSAAR, COST633) in the field of air quality and air pollution sources. She is the principal investigator in Spain of an FP7 CSA dealing with new technologies to monitor air quality in urban environments, participates in the European Topic Centre for Air Quality and Climate Change (ETC/ACM), and she is the principal investigator of 2 national competitive projects (EPAUR, IMPACT). She has also participated in a total of 23 national and international research projects. She has supervised 1 PhD Thesis, and has published> 65 SCI publications since 2002.
