Brief Curriculum Vitae
Jens Eriksson received his PhD in nanoscience from the superior school of the University of Catania, Italy, in 2010, during which he held a three year Marie–Curie Scholarship. He is currently employed as Assistant Professor at the Linköping University (LiU). His main research interests concern material characterization and sensor development in graphene and other two–dimensional materials. His expertize lies in the area of nanoscale surface characterization, and he has solid expertise in solid state chemical sensors based on SiC and on graphene for air quality monitoring. He is author or co–author of 32 scientific publications and conference proceedings on SiC and graphene. He is deputy of the board of the Swedish stratetic innovation program (SIO) on Graphene; project leader of 5 research projects; co–organizer of two scientific conferences; supervisor of co–supervisor of master’s (6) and PhD theses (2); main responsible for two master level courses on chemical sensors at LiU.
