01-05-2015 - 1–8 May 2015: 3rd TRAINING SCHOOL EuNetAir on Atmospheric Aerosol Physics

COST Action TD1105 EuNetAir has organized the third TRAINING SCHOOL on Atmospheric Aerosol Physics, Measurement and Sampling to be held in Hyytiala (Helsinki), Finland, on 1 – 8 May 2015 under management of University of Helsinki, Department of Physics, coordinated by Prof. Kaarle Hameri. The seven–day Training School, from Friday to Friday, will be organized towards maximum 12 reimbursed trainees and maximum 2 reimbursed trainers, mainly from COST partnership.
The Training School will be devoted to specific core–issues of COST Action TD1105 such as atmospheric aerosol measurements: physical, mechanical and electrical properties, sampling losses, particle filters, impactors, mobility and aerodynamic size spectrometers, particle counters, integrating nephelometers, absorption photometers, online mass measurements, aerosol mass spectrometer, aerosol sampling and dryers, and air pollution detection systems.
Graduated students, Master students, PhD students, Early Stage Researchers will be involved from COST partnership and COST Countries signing Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) including Near Neighbour Countries (NNC) approved institutions in open way. A fruitful exchange of knowledge and research experiences from senior teachers to young trainees is highly expected with scientific discussions on S&T fundamentals and frontier research.
